How does scoring work?

Your score is based on how close your guess is to the actual price. A perfect guess (0% off) earns 1,000 points. The further off you are, the fewer points you earn — at 50% off or more, you score 0. Stay within 5% three times in a row to activate streak multipliers of up to 1.25×.

Why am I limited to 10 guesses per day?

Free accounts have a limit of 10 guesses per UTC calendar day, resetting at midnight UTC. Upgrading to ValuX Pro removes the daily limit completely so you can play as much as you want.

What is ValuX Pro?

ValuX Pro is a premium subscription available at $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year in the U.S. App Store. It removes all ads, expands daily play, and gives you a 1.25× score boost on every guess. Prices may vary by country and are shown before purchase.

How do I restore my purchase?

In the app, open the Store tab and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to make the original purchase. If the subscription belongs to another ValuX account, the app will ask whether you want to log in to that account, transfer Pro, or cancel. If you still have trouble, contact us at [email protected].

How does the leaderboard work?

The leaderboard shows weekly scores — points earned from Monday to Sunday (UTC). It resets every Monday, so anyone can reach the top. You need to sign in (Sign in with Apple or Google) to appear on the leaderboard.

How do I report an offensive leaderboard name?

Open the leaderboard, tap the more button on the row, and choose Report Name. The name is hidden on your device and sent to ValuX for moderation. You can also email [email protected] for urgent issues.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. If you linked Sign in with Apple or Google, open Profile → Manage Account → Delete Account to delete your ValuX profile, score, streak, and leaderboard entry. Active Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Apple ID Subscriptions. You can also email [email protected] for help. Anonymous accounts are automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity.

The app crashed or something looks wrong — what do I do?

Email [email protected] with a description of what happened, your device model, and iOS version. Screenshots are helpful. We'll investigate and get back to you as soon as possible.

How are car prices determined?

All prices are sourced from real auction results and dealer listings. We do not manufacture or modify prices. Each car's actual sale or listing price is what you're guessing against.
